And the trades thought they're harder to find at a decent cost for the older ones.

I would love SO MUCH to rewind the whole DC reboot--it just breaks my heart every time I think of it. It pretty much singlehandedly killed my interest in comics, at least for the moment. Sigh.

But HEEE! I have never thought of The Shire as a fictional vacation destination, but you are SO RIGHT. It would be so cozy and delicious!

I often have to page back to reread descriptions because I skim them until they become important because ugh, I find it tedious to read about physical descriptions or room layouts or what have you.

YES. THIS. I skip a LOT of Tolkien, let's be honest.

Yeah, for me, it made it so that all of the money I'm paying to legitimately acquire comics is currently going to Marvel, so. Big fail there, DC.

My sister and I have talked a lot about how the Shire is the BEST - she would live there, but it's too bucolic for me full-time, so I would like to just visit.

I don't really care that much about the several varieties of trees/grass/flowers etc.

Tell me about stories you think I should write. I mean, if you could sit me down for a day or whatever and say, "Vic, I want you to write this story for me," what would that story be?

Suits of course!

Jessica has a younger sister who is just as brilliant as her in some other profession, but is also the black sheep of the family. The sister has legal trouble Jessica learns about from an outside source, by accident no less because of course she'll never ask for Jessica's help. Jessica has to put Harvey on point in the case since the Pearson sisters can't be in the a room with one another without getting into the same 20 year old argument. The sister probably flirts with Harvey AND Donna, scares the shit out of Louis and figures out Mike's fake lawyer-ness immediately.

Ooh. I do want to write Suits fic, but nothing has really pinged for me yet in terms of ideas, and I also feel like maybe I should watch the first season before I write, but I don't really wanna do that.
