Ugh, I'm having the kind of day where I type up a comment in response to someone's post and then realize that they probably don't care what I have to say so I just click out of it instead of posting. I might have to check out those Felix Castor books - I read China Mieville's Kraken and I've been reading the Harry Dresden books as a replacement for The Rivers of London series, but so far they're not cutting it completely.

The other thing I've seen recced with Rivers of London is Kate somebody's Matthew Swift books. I may give those a shot at some point, too. But at least Mike Carey I'm familiar with through Lucifer, so I'm hopeful they'll satisfy the craving for more Peter Grant.

I loved the Felix Castor books. They are slow sometimes but his language is so wonderful I didn't mind. I am very impressed by him. Plus - it's a bout a tin whistle player! That is one of the instruments I play. Lovely books.
