So you're the fourth or fifth person who's mentioned the Hawkeye comic - is it worth picking up? (I've not read comics in ages but I've had a hankering to start again recently) How many issues have been released to date?

Yeah, he turned the wheel so I only got hit in the arm with the handlebar.

The Hawkeye comic is fantastic. I totally recommend it. The art is amazing, as is Clint and Kate's partnership (♥KATE♥), plus there is Lucky the Pizza Dog. There've only been 6 issues so far - I think the first trade is out now (or soon?) but you can probably pick it up with the latest one, because the arcs are only 2-3 issues long, and the latest one, I believe the proceeds are going to Sandy relief.

Wonderboys frustrated me to no end. Apparently Michael Chabon was going through a writer's block while writing it, and ao the main character is a guy with crippling writer's block and that goes around being a total asshole to everyone. It has noce bits because, Chabon, right, but mostly I wanted to hit things while going through it.

I assume it was really therapeutic to write, but in my opinion it's his worst book. Ah well. Let us know what you think of it!
