Sigh. I really wanted French fries for dinner, and some honey mustard sauce to dip them in. I was excited about ordering them. They'd be hot and crispy and salty and oily and they would taste so good dipped in honey mustard sauce ( Read more... )

I know this probably won't make it any better but as far as I know Edgar Wright's Ant Man won't be about Hank (and Jan) at all but about Scott Lang. I don't like Hank very much and I'm sad about losing Jan buuuut we'll definitely get Cassie and maybe it means this is their way to introduce Young Avengers (handwaving all the things they can't use due to movie rights of course) and pick up again the Runaways project (that's mostly wishful thinking!) /two cents

I'd love to have Jan, but I'm okay with the movie not being about Hank. I would LOVE for them to set up Young Avengers (and Runaways) for future movies! But I still can't get over my annoyance that we'll get a movie about Ant-Man - even if it is Scott Lang - before we get one for Natasha or T'Challa.

I don't think it's necessarily going to be Hank in the movie. He's not Ant-man in the comics right now, Scott lang is. Plus, they're getting ready to really promote the character in the new FF book premiering soon.

Scott's is a really neat story, especially if it takes place when Cassie was younger. It'd be pretty neat to see a single dad superhero up on our screens.

Besides, if they do right by the Winter Soldier storyline we'll get a lot of great Natasha scenes in that movie.

I thought Scott was dead again. I just don't care about either Ant-Man in any way except that it means we could see Jan or Cassie in a movie.

There should be, but I'd still like her to get her OWN movie.

I thought Scott was dead again.

He was but Cassie helped bring him back during the Young Avengers Children's Crusade storyline.

I'd love to see Nat get her own movie, too. They've done such a great job of translating this wonderful character to the screen. :)

I think I was remembering wrong, considering how Children's Crusade ends. Which I also do not accept. Sigh.

Yeah, it is pretty difficult to think of a movie in which I would be less interested than Ant-Man. UGH WHY.
