I'm in a stupid, mean way kind of glad that the commentary track is boring, because it pissed me off so much that I didn't get it at all with my R2 bluray. But I kind of hope/assume Disney'll put together a mega Avengers super-DVD at some point for all regions, with hopefully another commentary, more extras and more deleted scenes and stuff. Disney is greedy enough.

Wow, I'm really surprised they didn't include it. Maybe it's in that big giant box set? Though yeah, Disney is greedy enough that I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't another 'extended extras' version at some point.
Being a huge nerd, I enjoy all the lens, focus, and technical commentary - I view it as similar to "why did you use that word when describing that action" type of commentary. I do love some character motivation commentary as well, but I am not a complainer about the lenses (especially since I also like nerding about Directors of Photography).
I actually really love Joss commentaries, even though Joss himself has started to grate on me in interviews. Have you listened to the Joss and cast commentary on Serenity special edition DVD?
