This morning did not start well - I was halfway down the block when I realized my metrocard was not in my bag, so I had to go back for it, and then it wasn't in the pocket of my pants from yesterday, and it didn't seem to be where I usually put it, so I spent a few minutes tearing around my apartment, freaking out. Eli looked great! I was surprised at how bad Carolina looked, I was anticipating a much closer (for a while at least) game.

Yeah, I think all the sportscasters were, too. I was just glad the Giants didn't take a full half to get untracked offensively.

If Miles gets hurt I shall choke a bitch, but seeing how he got introduced only recently I have hopes for his surviving at least for a while.

Ugh the Ultimate universe. I don't know that much about it, but whenever I do see posts about it it's all about how everyone is so much bigger a douche than in 616, which is not appealing to me.

Peter will never stop calling him Bucky Cap! and wondering why he has wings for ears! They are hilarious together. Or, well, Peter is his usual hilarious self and Bucky is long-suffering. There should be more of that!

Me, too, if only because there was such a hoopla about his arrival. But I don't trust Ultimate Cap at all.

Ultimate Spider-man is fantastic, but the rest is really awful. I know that there are new writers now and apparently they've tried to walk back some of the awfulness of Ultimates? But I can't be having with a world where Tony Stark is the least douchey Avenger, you know?
