Yup. That's exactly what I mean and exactly why I hate it.

Yes. It makes everybody who withholds the secret look like a disrespectful asshole and unless there's some attention paid to the person learning the truth processing and being angry, it comes off as completely unbelievable. I can understand forgiving someone eventually, but not just "Oh, yeah, okay, you kept this HUGE thing from me that almost got me killed SEVERAL TIMES but we're still friends! Yay!"

We'll see how Teen Wolf handles it with Lydia and Scott's mom, I suppose.
