So buried in my unfitforsociety inbox, I discovered two Amazon gift certificates I had never redeemed, so of course, being me, after seeing Batman yesterday, I bought two Superman comics. Um. Verra interesting. I'm not a huge Superman fan, but All-Star and For All Seasons were both pretty good, with some truly wonderful moments. But I think my favorite Superman is Darwyn Cooke and Tim Sale's Superman: Kryptonite (originally an arc in Superman: Confidential). Best Lois ever (outside of the TV Lois's).

Note to DC: retconning marriage out of existence is lame. Stop doing these things.

I have a lot of ~feelings about Superman, most of which were a surprise to me, as he's not my favorite, but after the reboot shenanigans, yeah, I was like, BUT WHY ARE YOU RUINING SUPERMAN?

And I really did enjoy Superman: Up, Up and Away, so we'll see how these go.

Funnily enough, I think my favorite Superman moment is actually from Iron Giant. :-) Despite the problems that film had, the finale is pretty wondrous.
