I really liked their dynamic here- Jason with his Christmas plan and Dick coming back from the Wayne Christmas Eve. I also like how- people think of Dick as the bottomest bottom who ever bottomed, and while I love bottom!Dick, I really enjoyed the slightly more complex version here.

I admit, I never think in terms of top/bottom when I write - it's mostly about how the sex will convincingly advance the story and be in character, so I'm always a little baffled when people insist a character would NEVER top or bottom or whatever. If the story needs him to do it, then that's what he does.

It's like Christmas on your journal this week am I'm very happy that Dick finally managed to get his pants off. This made me laugh and want to hug Jason (as ever) and then the ending was so sweet with the clasped hands.

He looks like he's the one who engineered this whole scenario, and it reminds Jason of all the things he hates about him, about Bruce, about the way they always seem to keep control and he always loses it, and not always because he wants to. It makes him reckless, always has, and he doesn't go slow,

This bit was so very Jason.

I just wanted to say that I loved this, I really did. It felt cozy to read with the Christmas tree/lights (and that being the only light) and snow going on, and I liked that it wasn't perfect between them, and Jason had that moment of remembering and hating but that it kind of eased out in the end. The sex and teasing was written very well and I thought they were both very in character. I loved how it started out kind of light, kind of got a little rocky, and then just..mellowed? out in the end. It was wonderful and I seriously can't get the story out of my head. I'm awfully tempted to draw some fanart because this story won't leave me alone. fjdksl.
It was wonderful, and I'm so glad I got to read it and that you wrote it. Thank you so much for writing it, I mean it.
