I know it's a cliche to say that we're all watching a different show, but the truth of that is occasionally brought home to me when I read reviews/recaps, and I'm like, dude, did you even WATCH the show? case in point, last night's Young Justice. ( spoilers )

tv: young justice, comics: young avengers

I don't get it either - it's been pretty obvious that Connor/M'gann has been endgame since they MET, what show was everyone else watching? There have been little things there since the start, most especially the fact that those two don't have much interaction besides EACH OTHER to start with. I was so happy that we finally got our kiss, though.

And god I hope Wally stops being so painfully obtuse and stops with the flirting, "I can totally land her, I just have to try hard enough and eventually she'll stop saying no" thing, because it's just sad - M'gann isn't even saying no, she doesn't notice him at all! Oi, take the hint, please.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know if they'll be together forever and ever but I hope the writers explore all the ups and downs of a first relationship, especially since Superboy is still learning how to be human and how to have relationships.

I hope Wally stops being so painfully obtuse and stops with the flirting

*nod nod*

It just makes him look like a jerk.

Ooh haven't watched it yet. It's the roomie's show more than mine, but I watch it with him; TV's in the living room, I'm in the living room. It happens. Finally a kiss! Yes.

You're welcome for that photoset! :D

There was a bit of M'gann hate that I saw, but I had to go looking for it (which I'm still not entirely sure why I did). Mostly what I saw was similar to the AV club guy -- "OMG where did that come from?!?" Hey dumbass, it came from every single interaction they've had between them so far.

Why would you do that? I usually only see passing references to it, which is the way I prefer it.

I don't get how people didn't see this coming, because it was totally set up right from the start. They might not like it, but that's different from not seeing it!

I've actually seen people complaining that M'gann and Superboy has been "shoved down our throats," and the show focuses too much on their relationship, where previously they were upset that it came out of nowhere.

FANDOM, STOP THAT RIDICULOUSNESS RIGHT NOW.

Seriously, Fandom! Don't make me put you in a time-out!

You know, I get not liking canon pairings, and not shipping them, though I often do, but the one thing you can't say about M'gann/Superboy is that this was not foreshadowed from the first episode! I also don't feel like it's been shoved down my throat, certainly not the way Wally's awful douchiness has been.
