Day 7 - Have you ever had a story change your opinion of a character?

Yes. I have on more than one occasion tried to write a story from the POV of a character I've disliked in order to understand them better and maybe like them a little more. And for the most part, it's worked.

What kind of food do you want? I mean, there's a decent diner on the corner of 8th and 34th - the NW corner. I think it's called the Tick Tock. And there's a TGIF right there as well. Meh.

If you want to walk over the 6th Avenue, there are a couple of good Korean food restaurants on 32nd Street btw 5 & 6th, and the orange/yellow line is right on the corner of 6th there. (I like New Wonjo. They have BBQ or non-BBQ)

The Penn Station area isn't exactly known for their restaurants. There's a ton of fast food.

Times Square does suck for restaurants, but Juniors is right across the street from the HP thingie. (It's on 45th, but there's that cut-through right there by the theater) and they have good sandwiches and desserts!

Yeah, Tick Tock Diner is the only one I'm familiar with. I mean, I know a couple of bars in the area? but that's not really suitable at 11:30. Juniors is an idea, though. Hmm...

Thanks!

There's a diner - possibly the Tick Tock - that does Nutella French toast that I highly recommend.

I used to work right around Times Square, and there's a really good deli on 45th between 6th and 7th called Cranberry. I used to go there nearly every day for lunch (usually a salad, sometimes a sandwich - I recommend the avocado sandwich). Upstairs seating and a little bit of everything. On 45th between 6th and 5th is a very good but kind of pricey Italian takeout place (mostly pizza) - I can't remember the name of it, but their spinach slice is to die for, and their grandma slice is pretty damn close. On the north side of the street, closer to 6th than 5th.

Depending on how the weather is, the Tick Tock might be our destination.

Otherwise, thanks for the ideas - if it's not gross out, we might walk around. (of course, we might walk all the way to the waffle truck, which is supposed to be stationed at 49th & 3rd tomorrow.)
