but behind shaking fingers they're whispering your name

I had the All-Star Game on for a little while last night and did I really see a commercial for a movie version of Moneyball? Starring Brad Pitt as Billy Beane? I... They seriously made a movie about baseball stats? Starring Brad Pitt? I don't even know what to do with that ( Read more... )

The only thing I can come up with in concern with the Nazi loot is, is that Neal doesn't blame the Art. It's not the art's fault the Nazi's stole it. To Neal the art is innocent. LMAO, okay I'm cracking myself up with this, feel free to ignore...

I did find it interesting just how much he did not want to use a dead baby's birth certificate, I couldn't help but wonder why. And yeah, the Moreau thing does seem a bit odd and a red flag. Peter would spot that a mile away -- though would Peter think Neal would be that stupid?

I don't really think Mozzie's being that different this season, though I am a bit miffed at him for taking all the art in first place and putting Neal's own art into the warehouse so Peter instantly thought Neal did it. And now Neal has it and he just can't say no... it is like he's stuck between Mozzie and Peter. Mozzie may begrudgingly like the Suit, but he's always going to pick the life of a con artist (at least at this point).

I think Peter knows Neal could be that sentimental.

They totally did, and Aaron Sorkin did the screenplay!

Of course he did. That totally makes sense to me.

Not only did you see a commercial, but you probably heard it mentioned a thousand times during the game, and you heard Brad Pitt Himself doing the Elysian Fields narration at the beginning of the game with both an on-screen credit and a few mentions by Buck/McCarver. I was so reminded why I hate watching baseball on network TV.

Good book, though.

Heh. I had the TV muted, so I missed all of that.

You should look up the video of Justin Timberlake on one too many beers, though. He did an interview mid-game near the pool. It was hilarious.

neal's insistence on not using a dead baby's birth certificate struck me as really odd too, and a weird thing for him to have such strong ethics about. and then i wondered if there's some backstory reason for it that would make it make sense.

i thought victor moreau was the guy team leverage was chasing last season, and couldn't figure out why the name was such a big deal to neal. >.< someone's commentary last night cleared it up for me. ahem. that can't be a coincidence, but i have no idea what the ptb are going for. and robin hoodie (hee!) turning himself in felt way too easy, especially since they went to such pains to paint him as a kind of mini-neal and neal never would've done that. i mean, "stealing expensive stuff was getting boring"? really? after neal telling peter the kid would never quit because stealing was such an addictive rush, and he'd have to hit rock bottom first? (i'm guessing going to jail, losing kate, and getting busted by the fbi - twice - wasn't enough rock bottom for neal.) i didn't buy it ( ... )

But Peter's way ahead of you, Neal. I have no doubt about that.

THIS. \o/
