It would be difficult to choose a favorite line from that song (or that album), but your choice would be at the top of my list, too.

On another note, dinner Saturday! Any ideas? We are tentatively going to go down to Chinatown for lunch, probably @ 1:30-2ish as Di is dying for Joe's Shanghai soup dumplings. You are more than welcome to join us for the day as well. (I'd like to try to brave the crowds on Canal as well - I need some cheap silver jewelry.) I don't know if you have other plans or not. Mousa's train gets in @ 1-ish.

I'm going to sleep in and be lazy, so I will just meet you for dinner. We're good with any of them. Mousa said she trusts your judgment and ability to pick place with awesome desserts. There's three of us and you, so if you want to do the crepe place, we can do that. :)

Thunder Road is excellent for lyrics. I like to keep it a little more real, down to my street roots:

"Word to the Tipper: rap won't fall; word to the bourgeois: fuck all y'all." You may laugh, but I won a recent haiku contest for writing one based on that lyric. Of course, there were only 15 people in the contest.

Thanks for making dinner! I've eaten all the ice cream and half of the macaroni. Wonderful! and glad your tennis shoes did you right. I hate when I ride the bus too far.

Well, you can take comfort in the fact that I am indeed laughing, probably at you and not with you, regarding your "street roots."

I'm glad you're enjoying the macaroni! It was good. We should do that again soon. But not until after you've bought a wooden spoon and a couple decks of playing cards.
