YOU WROTE ME DICK/BABS!! Eeeeeeeeeee!

And it is gorgeous. Your Babs pov is so right, how she wants the mysteries to solve instead of the flowers and chocolates and how she's both so completely smitten and yet too self-aware and aware of his issues to lose herself in it, and how she's such an incredibly sane member of the batfamily who has these insights (maybe Alfred is only one saner than her). Also loved how you followed the relationship through Dick going from being Robin to Nightwing, and we get Babs' view of that, and the cinnamon gum, and how Dick gives himself completely to whoever he's with at that moment, yet he genuinely cares for her. And the making out up-against-the-wall, and removing of uniforms, the shedding literally and figuratively of those layers, and then how you landed them at finding a comfortable place with each other, an understanding.

OH MY HEART. OTP! OTP! :D

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOU WROTE DICK/BABS! OMG THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY. I, too, adore your Babs POV, and how she's just slightly prickly without being cruel, and how she and Dick learn to understand each other, borne out of their long friendship and a lot of trial and error. Plus I am really REALLY into the making out against a wall. Like, REALLY INTO IT. Hee. And gauntlets and kissing and mmmm. Also you have so many lovely Dick insights here--his willingness to perform for an audience of one, the shadows love him the same way the light does (that made me shiver). Wonderful. YAY, this made me so happy!

Dick and Babs! The teasing and the competition and the could-have-been-kiss was so very Batgirl and Robin. I loved the kissing against the wall and Dick using his whole body to do it ♥ and Barbara always needing to be in charge. I especially liked the first two paragraphs of 3 - you capture the aftermath of a broken relationship and the fear of an invasion of your home.

It scares her, sometimes, how easily he lets her have her way with him, fits himself into whatever image of him he thinks she wants to see

Oh Dick.

Bruce is the only other person who makes her angry enough to cry, which makes a sick sort of sense.
