Do you ever put down a book or get up from the computer and walk around or click to a different window for a while not because the story you're reading is boring or bad, but because it's so intensely good that you can't take it in one big chunk, but have to step away and take a breather even though you desperately want to know what happens? Harlequin Romance. Tim hadn’t expected to spot him so soon, but the modelling of his forehead, and his cheekbones, were obviously, unmistakeably, Clark’s. His mouth was completely different though, and his jaw, and his eyes were a shade or two lighter in their blue. They landed on Tim, briefly, and Tim looked back, held the glance steadily for a beat, two, before looking away. It was a reasonable start to the mission.
An AU where Kon is brought up by Lex and Tim goes undercover at his high school to meet him.

Friday I'm in Love by impertinence
Crushes, Bats, and gators, oh my!
Kon is completely and adorably oblivious in this one and there is lots of banter and they are such boys.

I read both of these off your recommendation and they were both absolutely wonderful - I am considering them my gateway drug to Kon/Tim. (Usually I just quietly stick to Dick/Jason)

Thank you so much for posting these!

No problem, it's such a fun pairing. There are a few Tim/Kon fics that I've enjoyed here

This happens to me a lot, especially when I am deeply invested in the characters and their relationship.

YES! Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes YES! I love stories like that. They make me make little noises when I am reading, they make me wiggle in my chair they make me hyperventilate. I have to go away from them and just breathe for a minute, then go back.

I'm not going to bang my head against a wall anymore because someone requested ANY characters and then put up a laundry list of characters in their optional details, none of whom are the characters I actually offered.

Which is totally against the rules, and they should know better, so there.

Heh. Right? Had life not interfered, I'd have finished a story, but I can't say I'd have felt good about it, since I don't think it was what they'd have wanted.
