I said yes, of course, and so after work we met up at the AMC Empire in Times Square for the movie (if it had been that Loews on 34th St, I might not have gone - it's been five years, but she still reminds me of the, uh, incident

Re: the Gaslight Anthem: I'm not particularly a Springsteen fan, so the allusions mostly go ignored by me. I'm also not a Supernatural fan, so the Winchesteriness also mostly escapes me. But I do love the Gaslight Anthem, so it doesn't really seem to matter. I saw them on BBC at Glastonbury two summers ago--when Bruce joined them--and they were astounding and so much fun.
