No, I am not going to comment and ask to be added so I can read your* deathless prose or view your pretty icons. There's enough stuff available without making me jump through hoops

Yes! Even more irritating to me (as a newsletter editor) are icon posts that say "unlocked but locking in 3 days, join my comm, lol". I WILL NOT LINK YOU!

Yeah, I mean, I get that some people do lock stuff down after a certain period of weeks or months, but then don't share the link in a community where people will be looking for stuff months or years after the fact. Ugh.
