I haven't participated in the id-fic meme-thing because 1. ridiculously busy with work and remix, and 2. because we all know my id contains SEKRIT INCEST BABIES so I don't know that there's much else to say. *snerk* (Here is a good explanation of what I'm talking about.)

You know, I was thinking before the Spn finale about Buffy parallels, mostly Season 6 (yellow crayon, which of course they did) and Season 2, but you're right, in the end there was a lot of inverse Season 5 as well.

Of course, when I was considering "Becoming" as a possible model I was kind of fixated on the possibility of getting Naked!Feral!Sam back from hell, like Angel in Season Three, but alas, whatever version of Sam came back at the end of SS it was fully clothed.

Yeah, the yellow crayon was the most obvious thing, but it just struck me out of the blue this morning that not only were there these similarities but that the actual placement in the series was mirrored too. But inverted. Or, I guess a lot depends on how you feel about "The Gift" and what happened there.
