the simple, ravishing music of their hurry

What is up with the repeats of The Good Wife? WHY IS MY SHOW A REPEAT AGAIN? *shakes fist at CBS*

I enjoyed Glee tonight, though I'm not sure if the meta commentary acknowledging the show's issues means that they're going to try to do better, or if it just means that they don't care what people think. I'm guessing it's the latter. Also, can we set ( Read more... )

I still can't sit through a whole episode of Glee. I'm really grateful for (what my profs used to call) my sociological imagination and how I cannot turn it off, but it pretty much eliminated Glee from my rotation, despite how it would seem to be tailor-made for a former a cappella group member who likes 'quirky' TV. I don't really even know their names, but given flist commentary and what I saw tonight I REALLY hope that those two stay Cheerios for the rest of the show's run, or until something gets fixed (which, given flist commentary and what I saw tonight, probably won't).

Grrr.

I mostly do other things while I have it on, and just look up during the musical numbers, or when Sue Sylvester is onscreen.

i am friends with the high speed dubbing. i watch for Tina, Kurt and Mercedes (and Britney, these days)

if someone recut eps of glee involving those kids (or, anyone but Rachel and Finn and their related dramas, and all the adults but Sue), i'd watch the shit out of that

I think the writers do care what people think, but also probably think we've got it all wrong. They didn't mean so and so like that! So we might see some changes, but most likely no where near the changes we should see.

Thank you for providing Open Up Your Heart. This episode left me with an urge to put it on repeat.

Yeah, I have a feeling they're very, "You're just looking to be a offended! It's just a TV show, man!" about it.

Open Your Heart is my favorite Madonna song. Glad to help. *g*

ITA about Finn. He is the worst vocalist in the group and continues to be the male lead. WHY? When he said that I about fell over.

I don't know, but they really should give Artie and Puck more solos.

I missed the last 3 minutes of Glee because the DVR cut off. ::shakes fist at American Idol::

I am always irritated by Finn supposedly being the best, or whatever. Puck has an awesome voice. And I think Artie is my favorite singer out of all the guys. Stupid Finn, and he's stupid part getting.

::grumbles::

Artie is fantastic, and Puck is good too. I don't see why Finn always has to be the lead, except they want to force all the stupid romantic drama down our throats. Ugh.

Sue Sylvester makes me sad. Because sometimes she is awesome! And then other times she sexually assaults people, and then blackmails them about it as if it is their fault! And those are not actions of which I approve!

I do love Kurt and Mercedes, though. Especially in tuxes. Unf. :D
