I don't have anything to say about Bones except that I thought people calling her Morticia was hilarious, and Booth sure fills out a t-shirt nicely. Oh, and also, I guess this is a spoiler? ( spoiler? )

that sam-i-am, tv: supernatural: episode-related, oh dean, tv: bones, the boy/boy melodrama

About halfway through the episode I threw the remote down and declared myself a Sam girl. Luckily, Dean remember who the fuck he was and pulled his head out of his ass though, so order was restored by the end.

Later, when I have less homework, we'll discuss how much of Dean's blue period was due to Sam not believing in him last season. Because Sam was balls-out crazy from Mystery Spot, and losing Dean to hell.

I love those two ridiculous, awesome, erotically codependent boys.

(I am ignoring how the show is CLEARLY playing fan service to both sides. And hoping that Castiel dies in a fire.)

ALSO, because I forgot to mention this before--But do you have any idea how much I love that Sam knew where to find him, and found him in time? I'm hoping you do, because I'm not sure I have the words to express it. Oh, oh boys. I have missed you so much, boys.

I was SO PLEASED. I had worried that Sam would spend most of the episode looking for him and then Cas would find him or something, so having him turn up in the doorway RIGHT AWAY was awesome. And the look on Dean's face! Heh. That was also awesome. :)

I was so worried they'd make Castiel more important than he is, when it had to be SAM who got through to Dean to make it work.

I have had Dean say, "Fuck destiny!" in a number of stories, so it was AWESOME to hear him say it (well, the tv-version of it) in canon!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :D :D :D

GOD. FINALLY. THE WINCHESTERS ARE BACK, LADIES AND GENTS.

SAM IS THE AWESOMEST. I was so hoping it was gonna be Sam to put fixing things between them in motion. And for once Kripke didn't let me down. I was so proud of Sam for just showing Dean that he trusted him.

God. Dean's little smile and wink put my heart back in its proper place. And Jensen Ackles. Love that man. You can see IN HIS EYES the moment Dean changed his mind.

I do wish, though, that Sam had been like "Hell yeah, you owe me an apology." HAHAHAH. But I'm proud of Dean for realizing it.

YAAAY SO HAPPY. :D

P.S. Sorry for always creeping your journal. It's just that I like your fics and it's fun to chat with someone about the latest episodes. :D

P.P.S. Loved that Booth was her "husband".

Oh, P.P.P.S. (I promise to shut up after this). I imagine that all of the stuff in the box was for Sam, and he was just using Bobby's address because there was no other place to mail it for Sam.

The stuff was for Sam, but the note appeared to be addressed to Bobby and Sam.

I was so afraid the show wouldn't let Sam have that grace, but they did, and he did. *happy sigh*

Bobby Kent! And that all the women hit on him. Heh.

I don't think he was wrong to go to Stanford!

Agreed! I'm hoping we get another conversation dealing with this subject at some point, because Sam *wasn't* wrong to go to Stanford. He wasn't wrong to want more for his life than the Winchester Family Revenge Quest, and I *so* want to hear him say that to Dean in a way that will make Dean understand that rejecting the life wasn't a rejection of *him*.

I choose to believe that Sam said it the way he did tonight because he knew Dean wasn't in the headspace for nuanced rationale, and he fully intends to revisit the subject when things aren't quite so apocalyptic between them. *nods* *g*

I'm not sure I trust the show to handle that in any way well.

SAAAAAAAAAM! AWESOMEST WINCHESTER OR MOST AWESOMEST WINCHESTER? THERE IS ONLY ONE RIGHT ANSWER!
This episode made me happy to be a male Sam-girl. SAM IS CLEARLY SUPERIOR.

Sam is certainly the more mature brother at this point. But Dean's getting there. BOYS!

Hush you!

Though this Dean!Girl couldn't possibly love Sam more right now. He's the emotional champion of the apocalypse.
