She has lovely hands, long fingers and nails she keeps cut short and square, though she paints them sometimes, colors Jess never would have expected her to go for...

Ouch, ouch, all the little sedate ways Sam has learned to rebel, and the context Jess has to piece together for herself. Sharp look at the both of them and how they fit together.
