So it was a year ago today that I was laid off from Big Evol MegaCorp. I kind of can't believe it. I mean, a year. 12 months. 365 days. It's kind of boggling. I look back on it and I'm like, wow, what did I even do for those twelve weeks? I really do hope they are going to do something with how much Kate resembles El, in addition to everything else.

That wasn't Kate. That was Elizabeth in a wig. Something is going on.

No, I'm pretty sure it's Kate. Elizabeth has a mole on the left side of her face that Kate doesn't.

I realized today that 35 years ago today, Friday, December 4, 1974, I was fired from my first job. I thought I'd never work again. Hah!

I have so been thinking about that, and I guess it's just fanon, but Neal having this crush on El because she looks like Kate, only in a safer, more comforting way that can't hurt him.

I like that fanon, but I was thinking of more, er, plotty reasons. I mean, they must have seen the resemblance when they cast the two actresses, so they must be going somewhere with it, no?

And FNL was just SO SO GOOD.

It had some nice Booth/Brennan moments, and Cam and Hodgins got to be hilarious, but there was so much ick with the shilling. Meh.

It was all right to a point. But it soon became an advert for a movie I don't even want to see at all. After that, I changed the channel.
