I was up a little later than I should have been last night, writing and watching Mike'd Up (*facepalm* I don't even know, you guys, except that I watched nearly 12 hours of football yesterday, and both the Giants and the Jets won), and then I had the usual Sunday night wake up every two hours and struggle to get back to sleep thing, so I am tired

Well, I missed the chyron jokes for the most part (my eyes tend to skip right over them) and I didn't know most of the sitcom characters or actors, but all of the dumb jokes? Got them and laughed.

I generally don't notice them in other people's stories, and I kind of figured nobody would pay attention here, but if you did, there were references there, too.

I loved this the first time I read it, but now, it's even funnier (I don't always catch the real groaner puns). I thought it was pitch-perfect Middleman and the recognizing each other's pop culture aliases was just wonderful. I even talked about it in the car, to the family.
