I make some pretty dumb artistic choices, from time to time (run-on sentences, what? Oh, oh, parentheses! I might bring that horrible thing back. I love that.) but capitalization and quotation marks are a line I simply cannot cross.

Heh. I sometimes italicize all the dialogue, which I admit is a pretentious twat thing to do, but the complete lack of capitalization cannot be overlooked.

I did a story in second person, with parentheses, and strike out. Also I go italics crazy. It's not a flaw if I'm aware of it, right? Then it's artistic? But, really, for all that fandom is about lines in the sand ("what? No! I'd never read th-- hey, that's pretty good") grammar should be respected.

I... need to get back to trying to disassemble what has basically become the junk room, and edit that fic. I think it's possible I should try and not be so blind with rage when I do though, you know?

I've done second person, I've told a story backwards, so I hear you. Still, there's a reason we capitalize things. I don't care if people don't in their LJ posts, but in a story I do.

The sex dream story is on the list. And I totally ship MM/WW, even though Javi is apparently nauseated by the idea. Because it's practically incestuous. Clearly, this is not a problem for me.

I'd forgotten how Sirius/Remus brings out the folks who don't capitalize in their stories and don't use quotation marks for their dialogue etc.
