Apparently, today is Administrative Professionals Day. I know this because of my learnings because I got a lovely bouquet of gladioli and tulips from my new bosses (with a very complimentary card), and some scratch-off lottery tickets from the woman who is technically my direct supervisor.

Hmmm. Administrative Professionals Day, and my boss hasn't made it into the office yet. And I'm supposed to be leaving early, in two hours, so I really hope she shows up because I can't leave if she doesn't. *taps foot* *looks at clock*

Hee. Bosslady gave me roses today to which I went, "Bhuh?" and she said, "Not a very good admin assistant if you didn't know it's admin professionals day, are you?!" Har, har, har. But the flowers are lovely.

Not sure you and I could ever eat together - isn't food set on fire, you know, scary?!
