( fruit of the poisonous tree : n. in criminal law, the doctrine that evidence discovered due to information found through illegal search or other unconstitutional means (such as a forced confession) may not be introduced by a prosecutor. The theory is that the tree (original illegal evidence) is poisoned and thus taints what grows from it. )

I very much enjoyed this. The voices for all the characters were just spot on. Buffy, in particular, was just perfectly pitched. Thank you for sharing it and happy ljversary!

Oh, I love crossovers so and this story is a fine example of why. Laying out Buffy's issues and the Slayer backstory and Sam's issues and backstory really help put them in perspective. Plus, then you get casual hot-people sex, Dean flirting with Dawn and other really adorable character interactions.
