Patroclus knows there is a reckoning coming, probably sooner rather than later, but for now, he chooses to lose himself in the heat of Achilles' body.

I read this at yuletide not knowing the author, but it doesn't surprise me that it's one of yours! Beautifully written, packed with layers and damn hot to boot! You've managed to convey the seriousness of the overall situation along with a very "human" A/P moment, full of sweetness and that deep kind of "knowing" they have for one another so very well. Great job! ( I still look for Alexander/Hephaistion from you. Hope springs eternal!)

Thank you so much! I'm so happy you liked it, and thought it felt like them. And yeah, I do see a lot of similarity in their relationship with Alexander and Hephaistion. Possibly because Alexander saw it himself. *g*

There is a little bit of Iliad fic out there - I have a small handful of recs here, though you've likely read them all already.
