My Aunt Angela died last weekend. She was 86, and had been struggling with cancer for the past couple of years, so it wasn't unexpected, though it's definitely sad. She was a great lady. re: Q train. Cortelyou Rd used to be my stop. True fact: the distance between the Cortelyou Rd and Beverley stations is the shortest of all the stations in the entire system. I think it's something like 500 feet... and yes, the front end of the train is pulling into one station as the back end leaves another.

Yep. Americans rarely (in my experience) kiss goodbye, but if we do it's just on one cheek, not on both like Europeans tend to do.
