Mah post is here. And I had a moment today where I was like, DAMN, why didn't I buy me some XF slimsets? But then it passed, 'cause the momentary rekindled love will die down too fast for me to get through them. To sum up: MSR YAY! :D
Yeah, I'm probably happy not to have spent the $100, but now I am all, Clyde Bruckman! Flukeman! BAD BLOOD! It will pass, but I will think about it with regret for a little while. And yes, MSR YAY!
Heh, Clinique, Origins, and MAC are all the same company and use the same R&D department out in Long Island (I worked in the company for years) and yet their products and counter staff are always so different. Sorry about the MAC snootiness, sorry to say that it's a global phenomenon - apparently the department store HR departments think that it's better for the image (the employees are of the dept stores, not the Brand), which is ridiculously frustrating. Origins bath and body products are the best - the whole ginger line is amazing, and the Never Say Dry moisturizer keeps me from looking like a zombie.
I am going to have to rewatch at least some of X-Files before I go to the movie - I have it ALL on DVD and have only watched the series a few times. But I am rather excited.
Caipirinhas are the best drink ever. And Cabana has great ones. You should definitely go back there to eat, because the food is fantastic.
They're all Estee Lauder subsidiaries, no? Prescriptives, too, I think. And it wasn't that the guy was snooty; he was just... inattentive. He helped my friend out, but then was like, 'Okay then, that's all? Let's ring you up!" and I didn't get a chance to be like, 'Hi, I am also looking at lipsticks!'
I love the ginger line. I've been using it all for years. The only perfume I wear nowadays is Origins Ginger Essence.

Eh, I don't think you need to. I didn't. but if you like the MSR, it's a fun time.

It seemed like it might be. I am adding it to my list.
Yeah, I don't know that XF holds up as a movie, especially if you are not already a fan, but I loved visiting with Mulder and Scully again. I only own one random box set of episodes on TAPE, so. I am not sure I'd ever watch again, but I was tempted by seasons 1-5. Sigh.

You may like to know that I dodged a bullet--the toilet seemed to be ok when I got home. But thanks for explaining how one uses a plunger.

Oh, also: Bordelaise: The sauce is made with dry red wine, bone marrow, shallots and a rich brown sauce called demi-glace.
