It was a little like when your sister played her Christian rock
and you'd drown it out with some Led Zeppelin, both of you

I especially like this one because it's so familiar - the "just turn it off" and the joy of opening the windows and letting the music blast when you pull up beside another car... Yeah.

I'll admit to not appreciating poetry much, but this one by Hannah Craig snagged my attention. The use of music as a metaphor for isolation and a weird sort of one-upsmanship is ... interesting.
