i admit i haven't read the original - which i will go do after i finish commenting :> - but this is fantastic. i love "sam is starting to be interesting again" and that dean can track him in the bus station because of his stupid hair and "batman doesn't fly" "that's 'cause he's an only child" and the fact that dean's perfect existence is himself and sam and the car.

Great remix of the original. Excellent title (of course), and very satisfying to get Dean's pov. It's all very bittersweet, and you have captured that--plus kept the characters very true. Nice touch with the Christmas inclusion!
