I am so with you on the waiting thing. I did something sorta different with my remix this year, and I want to talk about it, but I can't yet! So not a fan of the anonymity. :p

And like krabapple, I keep checking my email to see if I got a pinch hit. I keep telling myself that I don't really have cause to complain if people actually come through when they say they do, but...I like pinch hitting! *g*

I'm one of those awful people who got an extension and I'm writing like mad right now! It's so frustrating though, because it's all in my head, but only half in print, and of that half, only a quarter on the computer. (The rest is in my notebook; yay for writing in diners with really understanding waitresses.) But, um, one of those 45 stories should be up in a few hours, hopefully! *crosses fingers and wishes for a direct brain-to-page translator*
