I will possibly have yet more to say about last night's SPN, but I am still getting all teary when I think about it, and as I'm reading posts about it (and I am reading, even if I'm not really commenting much), so that will probably have to wait ( Read more... )

Did Yoga leave? the last thing I saw was Claire visiting Bradford in the hospital and getting caught.

Life is awesome. Charlie is this amazing mix of zen compassion and pure, unadulterated rage. Dani is tough and flawed. And the secondary characters get deeper and more multi-faceted every week.

So I hear. I've liked what I've seen, I just haven't seen it all yet.

Man, I would give Pushing Daisies AAAAAAA+++++!!! if I could. I was one of the people who went gaga over the pilot, but I had major concerns that they could sustain the cracktastic and the whimsical. I've never been more delighted to be proven wrong.

The rest of my list is very similar to yours, except I don't watch Bones, Ugly Betty, or House. Oh! And there is 30 Rock, which is the funniest thing on TV right now, and I, uhm, kind of have been enjoying it a lot more than The Office (I KNOW!) this season (I'd give it an A.)

Life! \o/\o/\o/ OK, that's not a grade. Hmmm. For the first 5 episodes, I'd probably give it a B, but the finish was so strong and I'd bump it up to A-. (I'm womanfully restraining myself from giving it a higher grade to show that my critical faculty isn't completely smothered by the squee. But it's hard!)

I am still not sure how it could go more than a season or two, but I'm willing to find out. *shakes fist at AMPTP*

Yeah, I may try to catch up on that while the hiatus is on.

Hee! I understand. It's partly because of your pimping that I started watching. Well, you and my dad.

I just almost caught up on UB, and agree that it's great except for Betty - she's the most boring character!

I like Betty, but yeah, she's got the misfortune to be the straight man, as it were, amid the melodrama.

it looks like the fnl murder subplot might be finished. *crosses fingers* and the thing that bugs me about matt and carmen (carmen? i'm totally blanking on her name >.< ) is that it was so predictable and i was really hoping she was more professional than that. (i didn't watch it for most of last season and so don't have much basis for comparison for this season, tho.)

I am hopeful. I just. What it's done to the show - what it's done to TYRA, in particular - really upsets me.

She ought to KNOW BETTER. Just. AUGH!

Last season had some missteps - some storylines resolved too neatly or were just dropped - but overall it was amazing, and I highly, highly recommend it.

my sister bought me the s1 box set for my birthday. guess what i'll be watching during all the upcoming hiatuses. :D

and y'know, carmen seemed more concerned that matt was dating another girl at the same time he was interested in her, because once he broke up with the girl? carmen was all "woo! in bed, boy!" which... no.

Yeah, the whole Matt/Carlotta thing just does not work for me. She's an adult! She should know better!
