What are your sandals made of? Maybe some leather soap or oil will help?

Ooh, I didn't even think of that. Thank you. The uppers are made of leather, and the footbed is suede, but the heel and sole are some kind of manmade plasticky thing. Which is where the squeaking appears to be arising from. But possibly some kind of leather soap would work. Hmm...

Allegedly, putting baby powder in shoes stops them squeaking. I've never tried this out myself, and I don't know quite how you'd do that with sandals, but I'm putting it out here just in case.
