I didn't get a whole lot of work-related work done today, but I did FINALLY get the del.icio.us index of my own stories up to date (I apologize to anyone who has that account in their network

I do have one last R/S WIP that I really do want to finish - I think it's been in progress for about three years, and perhaps I should look to posting it before Deathly Hallows comes out. Hmm...

Um, hmm. Meme. What was the hardest part about writing Lovers Alone Wear Sunlight? Or did you find it fairly easy to write?
I think it was pretty easy to write, mostly because the original prompt I got drove me insane, and I couldn't write it at all, so when I got the second prompt, I was like, OMG YAY STORY! and it pretty much wrote itself. I don't remember struggling much. Oh! There was a subplot I cut out about Remus and Snape, changed it to Kingsley Shacklebolt instead, because the bad blood between Sirius and Snape made using Snape too fraught, but that's all I really remember. The AU scenario was pretty much laid out in the prompt, and I just had a lot of fun playing it out.
Pie is comfort food. It's sweet and often warm, and can be served with ice cream, and it makes people happy. And if someone actually makes you a pie, that's a lot of work involved, so they must care a lot. And if you're like Dean and Sam and don't have someone to make you pie, getting free pie is almost as good. Though the pie in Alone I Fear the Tide is a metaphor for everything Dean would give to Sam if Sam asked, but can't articulate.
It makes me a little sad to discover that I haven't posted any Remus/Sirius since last July. I do have one last R/S WIP that I really do want to finish - I think it's been in progress for about three years, and perhaps I should look to posting it before Deathly Hallows comes out. Hmm...
