The theme this week was "music from your high school years." Which. Yes. I went to high school from 1984-1988, and these are all songs that immediately say "high school" to me (there may be one or two things that are a couple years early or a summer late - it was a long time ago - my memory is hazy), and I still love them. Heh. You're welcome. People can say what they like about the '80s - it's true, there was a lot of really bad music - but there was also some awesome stuff.

Exactly - it wasn't all crap, not by far ;) And now I'm trying to remember the name of that song that Howard Jones did with... I think it was Phil Collins and possibly Sting. Or, y'know, my memory may be getting dodgy these days... *g*

Tenderness by General Public That was my favourite one hit wonders and favourite song of the decade. You have so many of my favourite songs! Like 'Shake the Disease' by Depeche Mode. I am off to play them now!

Aw, General Public had other good songs - Never You Done That, and Hot You're Cool and... okay, no, Mirror in the Bathroom was The English Beat, but still they did have other songs! Though I love Tenderness best I think.
