He thinks that voice could call him back from the grave. He thinks it probably has. - i think if he had to, dean would walk the length of hell barefoot and without weapons for his baby brother. he can certainly come back from the dead, because as long as he's got breath, he'll never leave. and though he's the one driving away, he knows he's not the one leaving. exactly.

this is touching and sad and beautifully detailed and just really, really good.

I really like the idea of Dean working a legitimate job in New Orleans to keep from scamming people. It would be interesting if the show would have them stay in one place like that for a couple of episodes.

Great story - tore my heart out, of course, but then that's just Dean. :-)

I don't think he's a particularly moral guy, but I think he would try to avoid kicking people when they were down, you know? It would be interesting to see them have to stay in one place for an episode or two, just as a change of pace.

I saw the pilot of this show, entirely by accident, and haven't been able to find it again. I'm so going to Tivo this now. How can you get me hooked on a show before I've seen it?

Hee! The show is pretty mediocre in its MotW plots, but Dean and Sam and John... oh, the family dynamics are pretty entertaining.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reading and commenting.
