Heh. I had to read your commentary before I dared read the story because, you know, no weeping at work. *g* I love how you wove the past and the present and that Harry never really gets going, just a few words are all Remus needs to understand what he's asking. And sometimes Harry really does need to be told what's what, I think he must crave it even, considering the way most adults dance around the truth when they talk to him. Very nice. :)

Heh. It's not terribly sad, though it is kind of mournful, but angry mostly. *G*

I'm glad it worked for you. Thanks.

Oh, I agree. I think he wants them to tell him and they're still being all mealymouthed, even after what happened to Sirius, where, if SOMEONE had spoken to Harry earlier, that never would have happened. Gah.

Ooh, I didn't catch the looking like James thing as being almost like a justification for the outburst, and I'm so glad you pointed it out. I loved the references to James, anyway, but now they're more significant, as is the legacy from sirius. Oh, Remus. *sniffle*

I do still love this, and I don't think I gave you actual Remix feedback (although, you know, it's always possible that I did), but I love the ending, and Remus's outburst fits much more now that you've added extra stuff throughout -- especially the part about being reminded of the first war. It's lovely, and it still makes me sad for them all.

Well, it was vague, and I didn't end up going there, so...

Excellent. Thanks for the feedback, and thanks again for betaing for me.

This story, for me, is a perfect vision of how one can be a Remus/Sirius and a Remus/Tonks 'shipper, without feeling disloyal to either. And the fact that you wrote it--that's somehow even better. (I remember you reeling post-HBP over R/T, and so this story seems even more resonant for me for that reason.)

And, oh, your Harry.

Heh. Thanks. I'm still not onboard with Remus/Tonks, for many reasons, but I'm glad this didn't feel like R/T bashing, 'cause that's not what I wanted, you know? I wanted Remus to be able to reassure Harry that just because he was with Tonks now didn't mean he hadn't loved Sirius when Sirius was around.

Thank you so much!

It's nice for Remus to get some catharsis, isn't it? *g*
