That... that was amazing. I've been waiting for a "Sirius falls through the Veil into a crossover" fic since OotP came out and this one is perfect. I was hoping for Dark Tower but this is even better... damn. Okay. Coherent now.

First off, RIVER. So perfect. Her voice, everything. I love it. And Mal... you got him down perfectly too. It was like seeing my show again. I can't think what else to say, just that this was so good and amazing.

That is wonderful.
Mal, especially dealing with drunk Sirius. And Zoe sleeping on the couch.
River was brilliant.
And Sirius managed to be confused and lost and confident, in his way, all at once. A tentative version of himself.
It just reminds me so much why I love Firefly.

I...totally loved that. You have River and Mal and Kaylee down pat! River would totally teach herself Arithmancy. And I could definitely see Sirius ending up in the Firefly-verse and doing that.

This, this works. In my hands or anyone else's, I don't think it would, but what you've done here, with Sirius and the crew of Serenity, you made me hope half way through River wouldn't find a way to send him back and you'd continue on, different tales, different adventures, and Sirius would be there.

It's perfect.

I thought about that, about him not finding a way back, but then I thought of Remus and Harry, and how much they miss him, and... *g* But I think Sirius totally would have made himself a life on Serenity.
