He wouldn't get far with his legs damaged as they were, the nurses had taken the wheelchair out of the room after his third attempt to get into it that had sent him to the floor. [At the sound of footsteps and the rustle of cloth Hunter opens his eyes once more, glancing over in Kanda's direction. A slightly surprised noise from the redhead and he shifts up a little bit more, the casts on his legs constantly slide his weight down the bed.]

Kanda?

[Avoiding Kanda's gaze now, here they haven't talked about Chase helping him at least.]

I'm sorry that I have to ask this but...would you mind making sure Zane is taken care of? The nurses won't let him in here.

[It's probably an oddly early time of the day when Allen arrives in the hospital wing to visit Chase again. Early enough that the sun is definitely still out, though they may have pulled Seren away for the moment. Or not. It wouldn't be so bad if she were still there. But he has his hood up and his gloves on as he slips past the separator and into the room with him. He smiles, albeit a bit awkwardly, and holds up two very obviously chocolate cupcakes, with white frosting. No fear of DR tampering with those.]

...Ah... Happy birthday. [Though he doubts this is the best one that Chase has ever had...]

[He's just got broken legs for now, nothing more until I hear from Misu. Seren is being gotten ready for daycare, she gives Allen a sleepy hello as they pass one another in the main room of the infirmary. Chase is still in the slight confines of sleep himself and waking up, the medicine is beginning to make that difficult more and more. He's about to ask the nurse that comes in to take him off of it, pain medication or not he likes waking up instantly. But it's not the nurse and Chase forces himself awake more.

Hesitates just a moment, staring at the cupcakes and then looking up at Allen.] 'm hopin those're sugar free, Allen. Donna think I ken stand bein hyper in this bed. [Smiling. Softly.]

I know the cakes are... [Lifting one of the cupcakes up a bit to sniff at it slightly. Though he's not sure if that would really be able to tell him much anyway.] ...The icing might not be. [He hopes that won't be too much for Chase, though. He wouldn't blame him for eating the whole thing anyway; it was more symbolic than anything, and the nurses said he couldn't bring any alcohol for celebrating. :T ]

I don't think they'll let me have candles in here... [Otherwise there'd totally be one in at least one of those cupcakes. But he steps lightly over, setting the cupcakes down on the bedside table for now and taking a seat on the edge of the bed after a moment of pause.]

[Chase is still wary about eating them at all, he'll hand them off to some nurse when Allen is asleep and say they were delicious and couldn't help himself so he ate them both. Granted...Allen would hear the lie. So he might as well tell him the truth and just say the symbolism was enough.] Shame ya couldn'a find any withou' tha icin then.

[He's not hungry at the moment, breakfast in the infirmary is still a few hours off and his stomach is uneasy from the medicine anyway. Sneak a flask in, Allen!] 's alright. My wish is already here with me. [Really it was just having Allen by his side again, perhaps not all the way that they were before but they're still close enough that he can touch him romantically/intimately. Chase lifts a hand and tangles it in Allen's hair, thumb rubbing his cheek.]

[Guess who's stopping with even MOAR cake after Allen's gone to bed. Which means it's technically the 11th, but he's sure that Ehan will forgive him, yes?]

[Setting it on the nightstand and pulling up a chair]

[Are you all trying to make him a living hell for the staff? Hyper!Hunter is so not a good idea with two broken legs. And yes, he's gone and changed his name on you again.

Cracking an eye open and glancing at him, barely containing a groan.]

I've tried, they took the wheelchair out of here. Did Allen tell you I was in here or are you signed up for a newsletter?

[Smiles at Ehan, despite the groan. You really do remind him a lot of Kanda. He doesn't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing though. Yet anyway]

[Shifting to sit on the edge of the bed near Ehan's legs]

[Then he might notice two cupcakes still on his nightstand. Untouched.

Kanda would groan too. You know he would. And it's a good thing with him at least, it makes his tsuning cuter.]

Go ahead, not like I can hit you with them or sit up to hit you. [He's got a plaster around his ribs for the few broken ones he also got.] I won't be eating the cake you brought, just so you know. Sugar makes me hyper.

[Aww. But at least he put up an appearance. And it's better to see him than the stupid hallucination, yes, it's still floating around in the DR though it's gone at home. He's been here for a week or two already but only a few people have been told.

Glancing over at the door and lets out a tired sigh.] Figured you'd start poking your head around here soon enough. Always had that unnerving knack for tracing me down.

[He's fine with them, the things keep him company when he's alone. Which...while he's in here isn't going to be often. But as soon as the hallucination sees the real thing it disappears with an inaudible pop.]
