[It quite possibly is the smell of blood, though it's rather faint. He To his credit, he tries to keep the scent off of himself - people don't much like it if you smell like you've just eaten, after all - but perhaps there are just some things that get ingrained in.]

[He creeps from rafter to rafter until he lands softly, several feet away from Chase, and slinks forward to gently take the book out from Chase's fingers.]

[He chuckles a little and tucks closer to leave a brief, fluttering sort of kiss against the side of Chase's throat.]

[He will~ He will~ Just give him a moment longer. Aiden will get a pleased sort of noise at the kiss to his throat as Chase finally tilts his head down, nosing at Aiden again.]
