[In desperate need of a break from the countless books and lists he was reviewing, Chase was walking, rather aimlessly and reviewing the notes he had taken down in a small notebook. The brief flash of light caught his eye as he walked past the courtyard, and he recalled that he hadn't been watching the sunsets, yet again.

He steps out, not realizing there's another person in the area just yet. Watching the last few bits of color, Chase leans against the door frame, a small smile on his face. At least this one he got to see the ending of, not much like the other one.

Still, the sun is gone in a few minutes and Chase looks at the courtyard, having never come across this one before. It seems to go on forever, even has its own maze and fountain by the looks of things. Then he spots the familiar cloak, frowning just a bit as he pushes himself off the door and walks toward him.]

[And in any other circumstance, Aiden would have been able to hear something, smell something, sense something, before Chase spoke. But he isn't reacting, not until he hears the voice.

So he turns his head slightly, and then even more, eye wandering for the voice's source, rather than falling directly upon it. When he finally realizes who it is, he just stops.]

[That alone has him frowning a bit more. Something is off about him, but... Then he looks at Aiden's eye.

[He blinks and turns back toward where the sun was setting. If he were to come closer, he might notice it's slightly more blue than his own, given the heterochromia. But from his distance, it's probably not noticeable.]
