Still setting up, but I think you're amazing for this and here's Charlie if you still need him.

Oh, gosh I think you're amazing too, for not thinking I'm crazy for wanting this. But I was thinking about it today, and how she would be cute as a PB, and then thought of Ed. And the clothing he wears. And the colours. And :| It just all fit so well.

I can't wait.

I can't wait either. Matilda was like my favorite book and movie when I was little. (I think I still own them both.) It's been a while since I've read Charlie's, but I remember most of it. (At one point I had Great Glass Elevator, too, but I'm not sure if I kept it.)

Anyway... Any plans on how they grew up specifically? I'm thinking Charlie's still pretty youthful (hello, he grew up with Willy Wonka), but he's probably more serious about the business side of things because of his family's old money troubles. And he probably gets out more than Wonka did and is a little more of a public face, because he's taking over and people don't know him, so he wants them to. Still doesn't trust other candy makers with the formulas, but that's just common sense. Mostly he's still Charlie, just... grown up now.

...And I actually snatched chocolateerheir before I decided on this one, and with the number of Ed Westwick icons I might just use that for extra icon space.

And Charlie was one of my favourites. As was Matilda, of course. And I always really, really loved The Twits. I'm rereading Matilda right now, and of course aging up leaves a lot of room~ The Great Glass Elevator used to scare me, with the aliens and all. (lol my life ( ... )

This is such a brilliant idea! God, I think I read Matilda a million times when I was younger.

Would you be interested in a Miss Honey?

Hee! I just thought of it while on the bus. I worried no one would like it much. I did too. That, and Charlie. And the Twits. And most of them, really.

I would love a Miss Honey!

Matilda was my fav, followed by a short story collection called 'the wonderful story of Henry Sugar' and other stories. And have you read any of his adult stuff? Lamb to a slaughter is one of the most brilliant short stories ever.

I love Charlie. And the BFG. And James. And the Witches. God, the man's brilliant.

I was thinking somewhere along the lines of Emma Thompson or Mary Steenburgen for Miss Honey?

Oh, I haven't read that. Or any of the adult novels. I've been meaning to, though. I might look for them when I go to the library tomorrow. Or google them. That works too.

He made my childhood, really. At least my pre-Harry Potter!childhood.

Oh, I like either, actually! Whichever you feel is more suitable. :D

Oh, hell. I don't remember Matilda's friends name in the movie but I want to make an older!her. Only if you're okay with it. And I know the book pretty well, too.

Well, I am definitely keeping her strictly book canon, seeing as the movie was so very American, and all. But she could definitely use a friend. Lavender is in the books, and all.
