I've not seen The Last Jedi yet (le gasp!) but I'm doing so tonight. So, I'm expecting to have my brian flooded with new plot bunnies by then.
For now, I'm open to pretty much anything with them. I've tried Rey in a modern!verse if you ever want to try that. But I'm also interested in a dark!Rey verse in which Kylo trains her, or, in a reverse of sorts, Kylo being taken by the Resistance and maybe little by little drawn back to mama Leia's arms and joining the cause?
Of course, I'm totally open to any ideas you might have. :D
I think there are definitely some scenes in it that will impact any plot bunnies (plus tons of Rey, period), so enjoy the watching!
I'm fine with both and either, so far as dark!Rey, or a redemption arc. He does want to train Rey, it's his catch-all solution to his insecurity and isolation. The latter would definitely be a slow burn redemption, as he doesn't have a clean slate to come back to. It's always hard to convince people who've made painful choices that they made those choices for absolutely no good reason. I haven't really given any consideration to him in a modern setting, so I'd probably sidestep that for now, maybe come back to it.
