I was kinda thinking Wizard, just because magic would make stalking about a million times easier and more creepy.

I honestly have no idea what most actual wizards do. Maybe something from home that he can charge some serious gold for? There's probably a market in fixing those dangerous old magic books; the kind in the Restricted Section or the Monster Book of Monsters, where the book itself is magic.
