This would be set in the modern era with the characters having been reincarnated, and almost to complete exacts. Demons are less of a problem in this world, but they're not completely gone. For many of the demon characters, there's the choice for the characters to have lived that long-- what with the expanded lifespan-- and adapted to the modern age. It's up to the muns if the demons have died and been reincarnated or if they're really that old.
Due to reincarnation, and the flexibility on that, there is a chance they'll remember other characters or simply be drawn to them. With Sango and Rin, they know one another through Kohaku-- because without Naraku's influence, the pair could have been the best of friends.
There is a lot of room for creative license, and I wouldn't mind tossing around plot ideas in the least. If you have questions, just ask. I'd love for anyone. Sango would like friends.
