Got a Derek here - I'm not up to date on the latest season, but I have the gist of what has happened since his shooting.

A Derek would be great! And its totally fine, I've missed the last few eps of this season myself, so we really don't have to follow canon exactly or anything. Gabe here is a neurosurgeon, too, so they'll probably either butt heads... or be friends, haha! Either way, could be fun.
