Well, I promised pictures, and here they are. Like I said, I started calling it the bordello after getting to the point where I took picture two. I hope it's obvious why it's earned that name, haha.

It was a bit touch-and-go there for a few hours, lol. The color was nice, but it definitely needed broken up a bit by my stuff.

I have an orange color on one wall in my kitchen- I love bright color on a wall.

Thank you! I'm really partial to warm colors, so I think it worked out well. Plus, orange is my favorite color!

That looks really good! Nice and bright. I've heard that having one bright/differently coloured wall can really do wonders to the look of a room, and I like how you've done it as well, enclosing the space with curtains, etc.

Thanks! I had to put up the curtains when I took off the closet doors when I first moved in. I use it for an office space too, so the doors wouldn't have worked for me. The closet isn't quite as deep as I need it to be, plus doors might have been weird, lol.

When I repaint my actual room, I think I'm going to do one wall different than the others. I don't have a color scheme planned out yet, but I like the idea of doing that.
