"Children," I say plainly, "watch out for the baobabs!"

5As each day passed I would learn, in our talk, something about the little prince's planet, his departure from it, his journey. The information would come very slowly, as it might chance to fall from his thoughts. It was in this way that I heard, on the third day, about the catastrophe of the baobabs ( Read more... )

Hey girlie

I am loving this story!! I'm gonna have to quote some of it... I highly doubt a child would understand all of the different meanings, but i bet it would still be fun to listen to. Anyhoo, it's an awesome story and i'm glad u decided to share! :)

jenhappy, you hadn't heard of "the little prince"? it's a famous and beloved book. i'm surprised that none of your English teachers have mentioned it, or that it wasn't on a summer reading list.

Mark,

I haven't been able to put the links up for the last journal entry of The Little Prince quite yet. You see, since I don't have my own color pictures stored away somewhere that I can link to online, I have to "borrow" the links from another website in Russia. :) Unfortunately, it seems that the site I'm getting these linked pictures on is not up 24/7, which really disturbs me. It's the only place I could find all the pictures in book order, and all of them at once.

Anyway, as soon as I can, I'll update my last journal entry with the links to the pictures; I totally agree, that's half of the story.
