What I wouldn't do to be a fly on your wall to see how you do some of these techniques! Some look like tye dye! Great first layer they look done already!

Tie-dye...Hmmmm...don't see it. I was thinking that some of them looked like exotic batiked saris- especially the blue one in this set. I'm using the texture as a resist- a lot like using wax in batik. :-)

Sorry, I didn't mean tye dye I meant batik! I worked on a new painting last night. I will be sure to show you when done. Like to get other artists opinions!

Thanks! :-) The first few layers are always so beautiful. Maybe I should offer up some canvases with only a few layers of paint. There's an elegant simplicity to them that might appeal to my customers. Hmmm...
